In the Moment
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
We become fearful when we move out of the moment.
When we dwell on what is behind us we become anxious and anxiety leads to fear.
When we look too far ahead and get stuck there we fear what we can’t yet see.
But when we sit in the moment, really sit in the moment, and live the moment to its fullest potential, we have no time to dwell in the past or get stuck in the unknown of the future.
When we sit in the moment we learn to really enjoy our life.
Many of us speed through our days like there is a fire chasing us.
And then we live nostalgically in the past that we missed.
Why not live in the moment, remember it fondly, but then move onto to the next moment, fully appreciating it all as we go?
Today, start today, to really live in the day that it you are in now.
Leave yesterday behind and tomorrow ahead.
They are what they are.
Today is the where you can make a difference.
