In the Secret Place
One thing I have desired of the LORD,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the LORD
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the LORD,
And to inquire in His temple.
For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock.
Psalm 27:4-5
Dwelling in the Presence of the Lord will give you peace even in the midst of the rockiest seas.
When you find yourself in the midst, move towards and into that secret place.
The Psalmist went so far as to say that dwelling in the house of the Lord was the one very thing he desired.
In the dwelling he wished to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple.
The Presence of the Lord is not just a place of protection from the storms of life, but also a place of awe and relationship.
