Yet Praise
Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,
And the fields yield no food;
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there be no herd in the stalls—
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.
The LORD God is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer’s feet,
And He will make me walk on my high hills.

The LORD your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,

Happy new week!
Happy sunny although frosty morning!
As I sit here and look out the window the lawn is full of robins – one in particular catches my eye – she is round and wobbling as she searches for breakfast – a mama ready to lay some eggs
Nico has had breakfast, is brushed and looking handsome
And ready for a nap.
I’m nursing a cup of tea, devotions done
And ready to get to work.
It is a beautiful sunny morning in Porters Lake
The frost quickly melting in the morning sun
Glistening as it goes.
This morning in devotions I was reminded that it is a victorious day!
No matter what I’m facing today
At the beginning of this new week…
A bad report
A situation that needs to be addressed
Another week of the same ole, same ole.
No matter what I face this morning
I serve a God who is victorious
A God who has already won the battle.
So this morning I will give YET praise.
No matter what I’m facing
YET I will praise the Lord.
In the midst of what I’m facing
I WILL PRAISE the Lord.
And as I praise the Lord
The Lord will rejoice over me
Singing and Dancing around about and over me.
What a glorious picture.
As the sun shines
And the robins chirp in the front yard
The frost melts
And the bright new deck table and chairs dry off, waiting to be used
The cat naps
And the books wait to be opened for the day
The Lord waits on my YET praise
And as I start to praise Him
He begins to rejoice around and about me.
What a way to start a Monday morning!
Do you have some YET praise this morning.
Don’t wait until everything is in order, start now,
Open your mouth
Raise those hands
and begin to praise the Lord
For indeed He woke you up this morning!
Go forth today in victory!
