Travelling Day Blessings

What a beautiful day for a drive in the country.  Off to Musquodoboit Harbour and then Middle Musquodoboit this afternoon.  Sun was shining, leaves were beautiful, what a blessing.  Didn’t take pictures but here is what I saw:

  • wisps of angels wings and the breath of the Spirit in the bright blue sky
  • Blazing colours in bursts amongst the dark green trees
  • Red barns and stately farmhouses
  • wooly sheep
  • graceful horses
  • grazing cattle
  • the last cut of hay in the field
  • meadows dotted with colours
  • water bubbling up over the rocks in the river bed
  • arching bridges, surrounded by colour
  • trees, layered in colour – like God Himself outlined them and coloured them in with red, green, gold and yellow
  • bright blue metal roofs
  • the road ahead canopied by tall, slightly bent, trees – a colourful pathway
  • small town shops
  • rural hospitality – those walking on the road who wave to everyone and directions at the bakery 🙂
  • joy on the faces of my students as they talked excitedly about their experience in Long Term Care
  • wide open spaces
You don’t always need a camera to capture the moment 🙂
God is good, all the time!
