Travelling Day Blessings
What a beautiful day for a drive in the country. Off to Musquodoboit Harbour and then Middle Musquodoboit this afternoon. Sun was shining, leaves were beautiful, what a blessing. Didn’t take pictures but here is what I saw:
- wisps of angels wings and the breath of the Spirit in the bright blue sky
- Blazing colours in bursts amongst the dark green trees
- Red barns and stately farmhouses
- wooly sheep
- graceful horses
- grazing cattle
- the last cut of hay in the field
- meadows dotted with colours
- water bubbling up over the rocks in the river bed
- arching bridges, surrounded by colour
- trees, layered in colour – like God Himself outlined them and coloured them in with red, green, gold and yellow
- bright blue metal roofs
- the road ahead canopied by tall, slightly bent, trees – a colourful pathway
- small town shops
- rural hospitality – those walking on the road who wave to everyone and directions at the bakery 🙂
- joy on the faces of my students as they talked excitedly about their experience in Long Term Care
- wide open spaces
You don’t always need a camera to capture the moment 🙂
God is good, all the time!
