Too Many Voices

You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels. Isaiah 47:13

Isaiah was speaking to the Israelites about listening to a multitude of astrologers, stargazers and prognosticators.
In the world we are bombarded with voices; voices that speak into our lives about everything from who we are to what we need to buy to what we need to believe to what we need to do with our lives.  Like the Israelites, we have become wearied in the multitude of our counsels.
We are allowing too many voices to speak into our lives and to influence who we are, what we believe and what we do.
Many times the voices contradict each other and other times the voices contradict what we believe about ourselves.
Too many voices lead to confusion, fear and uncertainty.
We need to learn to listen to the Voice that created us, has told us who we are in Him, and has told us that He has a plan for us.
We need to be clear and stand strong in who Christ has told us we are in Him.
We need to be clear and stand strong in our beliefs.
We need to be clear and stand strong in walking out our destiny.
When we do these three things through the lens of love, not condemnation, towards ourselves as well as those around us, we will find that we are less wearied and more confident and invigorated.
Who are you allowing to speak into your life today?
