Restoration
Be glad then, you children of Zion,
And rejoice in the LORD your God;
For He has given you the former rain faithfully,
And He will cause the rain to come down for you—
The former rain,
And the latter rain in the first month.
The threshing floors shall be full of wheat,
And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.
“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten,
The crawling locust,
The consuming locust,
And the chewing locust,
My great army which I sent among you.
Joel 2: 23-25
The Lord has been faithful.
The Lord is faithful.
The Lord will be faithful.
In the past He has provided the former and the latter rain.
He will do so again in the future.
This is a season of restoration.
The years that the locusts have eaten in your life; in your finances, in your health, in your family, in your job, in your relationships, in your homes…….
those years will be restored.
Be encouraged.
Today is a day to stand up strong and tall and remember the faithfulness of the Lord.
Because he is “the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8),
we can expect that the faithfulness He has displayed in the past will be the same faithfulness He will display today and in our future.
Are you ready for a season of restoration?
Today is a day to be encouraged in our Lord!
