Redeeming the Time

Sunday again! Where does the time go?  I had intended to blog on our anniversary weekend away but have yet to take the pictures of the camera and put it all together.
It’s coming – just in its own time πŸ™‚

Blessings from the week that flew by:

Monday back to work – rested for the first Monday in months πŸ™‚
Fun in online course despite technological challenges and brain fog
Tuesday time to work on class prep – unheard of
Wednesday brought a much needed chat with medical supports – hope for the next while
 – hope that comes not in answers but in knowing that others know and understand and see that you are doing what you need to do
 – reminders of resiliency
-reconnecting with the past – virtual tea time and visit πŸ™‚
Thursday back to classes with many laughs in our afternoon class and an evening trip to Costco with hubby – passport pictures done and some great deals
 – driving home in the snow – lazy snow drifting softly on the windshield
 – mesmerizing and beautiful
 – slow enough to see the beauty of creation in individual snowflakes
Friday
– 20 mins of zumba on the Wii – finally got my body moving and the chemicals in my brain mixing
– tea time with a friend, catching up and seeing hope in new life coming soon X 2 πŸ™‚
– dollar store wanderings (some days it really is the simple things)
– lovely card from Hubby and a nice supper
– gigantic Carrot Cake that I didn’t have to make
– catching up on taped t.v.
Saturday
 – slow start to the day
– time for devotions
– leisurely baking – music LOUD
 – a checked off to do list (all those little things that have been moving from my list from week to week)
 – time, God redeemed the time – I gave Him my time first thing in the morning even though I woke up feeling pressured with MUCH to do……..but I took the time and sat in the Word and listened for the Father and He redeemed the time, extended it and I KNOW IT TO BE TRUE – I just need to be reminded sometimes πŸ™‚
Sunday
– worship that flowed from deep in my spirit
 – God’s Word
 – God’s love through the hugs, love and encouragement of His people – timely, just the right words in just the right time – only of the Lord, a Lord who knows me, the Lord that has created me in His image and Has a mighty plan for my life
 – Olympics
 -kitty cat love
 – ready for another week

God is merciful beyond my understanding and His grace is sufficient for each moment, for each day, for each hardship, for each trial.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
2 Corinthians 4:7

I may be living out of a cracked pot, but I’m living.  And I’m living, not to my own glory, but to the glory of my Lord and Saviour.  Someone said recently – I’m a window unto Jesus.  Only because He has allowed those cracks in me, so others might see Him through me!
A song I hadn’t heard before to uplift you – some old and new – powerful!

And the smile for the day.  You want to know how spoiled my fur baby is?
Work, what work do you have to do?  I’m checking my facebook and warming my paws!

I’m not moving…………..
Oh Nico, it is a good thing you are adorable……I should have been chasing him off my computer but instead it turned into a photo shoot πŸ™‚
This week
Take the time, redeem the time
Be blessed, be a blessing
