There is a Plan

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13

There are days when all seems chaotic and nothing seems to be moving in any particular order or toward any particular outcome.  
On those days it can be hard to maintain focus and even hope.  
But we can rest assured that there is a plan.  
The Word of God tells us that the Lord thinks thoughts towards us – of peace and not of evil – to give us a future and a hope.  
He has a plan. 
Even though we can’t always see it or understand the path towards it, there is a plan.  
And when we seek the Lord, with all our heart, He will be found by us. 
Are things chaotic for you right now? 
Are you losing focus or hope? 
The Lord has a plan for you.  
Seek His face, enter into His Presence.  
Allow Him to guide and direct and comfort you.  
The plan will unfold in its proper time, one step of faith and obedience at a time.

Equipped


Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. Acts 4:13

After the man was healed at the Gate Beautiful, Peter spoke boldly to the crowds. 
Peter and John hadn’t taken public speaking courses, they didn’t have a theology background and they hadn’t read books on how to engage the public.
Those watching and listening to them knew they were uneducated and untrained and yet they spoke boldly and with power. 
The key is that they had been with Jesus. 
When you have been with Jesus things happen. 
Jesus will call you and if you are willing, He will equip you like no course can.
The Holy Spirit will come upon you and equip you with the words, the boldness and the power you require in any given situation.
Today is not the day to step back from the call of the Lord on your life because you think you are not qualified. 
Get with Jesus and then allow the Holy Spirit to equip you. 
He will equip you like no other.
