Bless the Lord

I will bless the LORD at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make its boast in the LORD;
The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
Oh, magnify the LORD with me,
And let us exalt His name together.
I sought the LORD, and He heard me,
And delivered me from all my fears.
They looked to Him and were radiant,
And their faces were not ashamed.
This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him,
And delivers them.
Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints!
There is no want to those who fear Him.
The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.
Come, you children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
Psalm 34:1-11

Bless the Lord!
He puts us in the right place at the right time for the right reason.
Allow Him to use you!

The Lifter of My Head

But You, O LORD, are a shield for me,
My glory and the One who lifts up my head.
I cried to the LORD with my voice,
And He heard me from His holy hill. Selah

Do you sometimes feel, head bowed low, that you are not heard?
That your suffering goes unnoticed and you are unable to rise up within yourself?
The Psalmist reminds us that the Lord is “my glory and the One who lifts up my head”.
Not only that, but the Psalmist also reminds us that “He heard me from His Holy Hill”.
Sometimes we worry about things that are not truth.
We are not alone, our suffering does not go unnoticed,
He hears our cry and He will lift up our heads.
The Lord has done it before and He will do it again!
“My glory and the One who lifts up my head.”

Contentment

Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:1-13

It is not about what I have but about who I am.
It’s not about who I am, but who I am in Christ.
Therefore, I learn to be content regardless of the circumstances, because of who I am, not what I have.
Basic?
Yes.
Easy?
Not necessarily.
Priceless when you get to this point in your life?
Absolutely!
Seek contentment.
