In Spite Of

This is the day the LORD has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

It is a beautiful sunny day! 
We have so many things to be thankful and grateful for. 
It doesn’t matter what seems to be going wrong or turning upside down. 
We need to learn to take a deep breath, point our eyes, our hearts and our spirits heavenward and declare the faithfulness of our God.
 Even if it feels like one step forward and 10 backwards, all our steps are in God, so it is all good. 
We will be OK.
Take the time to praise Him today.

A Reminder

Sometimes we just need to start the day with –
A reminder of Who He is
A reminder that He hears the cries of our heart and
A reminder that he serves as our Shelter.

Hear my cry, O God;
Attend to my prayer.
From the end of the earth I will cry to You,
When my heart is overwhelmed;
Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
For You have been a shelter for me,
A strong tower from the enemy.
I will abide in Your tabernacle forever;
I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Selah
For You, O God, have heard my vows;
You have given me the heritage of those who fear Your name.
You will prolong the king’s life,
His years as many generations.
He shall abide before God forever.
Oh, prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him!
So I will sing praise to Your name forever,
That I may daily perform my vows.
