Not in Vain
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58
Steadfast – Hedraios – firm, immovable
Immovable – Ametakinētos = firmly persistent
Abounding – Perisseuō – to have in abundance, to excel, to overflow
In vain – Kenos – fruitless or empty handed
So, my beloved brethren, be firm, immovable, firmly persistent, always having in abundance, excelling and overflowing in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor will not be fruitless or produce empty hands in the Lord.
Simply put, hang in there, you’ve got this and the Lord has got you.
Be persistent in what the Lord has called you to, demonstrating the abundant overflow of the work of the Lord out of your love for Him.
And you will be fruitful and your hands will be full to give back unto the Lord.
