It Starts in the Mind
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:1-2
Offering yourself a living sacrifice, giving over your body to the Lord so that He may work in and through you, is not just a matter of your physical body being submitted to the will of the Lord. Submission of your physical body starts in the mind.
The Word tells us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. It all starts in the mind.
You must change the way you think.
You must change the way you perceive the world.
You must change your thought patterns.
You must change what you allow to flow through your brain.
The presentation of our bodies as a living, breathing, willing vessel to be used by the Lord begins with our thought processes.

What thoughts are you allowing to sit and fester?
What perceptions are causing you grief?
What negative self-talk are you engaging in?
Step 1 is to get a hold of your thought life.
The physical presentation of your body will follow naturally.
