Friday Thanksgiving

Some Friday Thanksgiving!

– It is Friday!

– Day off

– Sleeping in (you’ve probably noticed, I do like my sleep)

– Clean bed linens

– Laundry sorted and started

– Caramel colour tea in the glass teapot – just starting to bubble

– Cinnamon toast

-Morning Devotions

– John 1:1-14 – hiding the Word in my heart

– Music loud – singing loud – helps with the housework

– Clean house and its only Friday

– Christmas tree still up (speaks to my lack of obsessive compulsiveness at the moment and my willingness to be me…..)

 – Lunch with a friend

-Leggings, shirt/dress and new Christmas high boots

– the smooth feel of my new “seaglass” necklace, made with love

– Time to browse for more leggings

– MORE LEGGINGS!

– Costco on a Friday afternoon – nice: )

– leisurely browsing – no pressure

– sunny driving day

– quick trip to the office – which allowed for a beautiful view of two ships in the harbour – as the light faded and their lights lit up the sky

– chicken pot pie and spinach salad for supper (yum!)

– Christmas tree lights in the evening

– The smell of apple crisp cooking

– Sappy family/police t.v. shows

– Breathing……..slowly…….staying in the moment

All in all a lovely tea pot kind of day!
