Monday Blessings:
– First day of Vacation!
– Sunny day
– Time
– So much time
– Breakfast, tea and devotions on my swing
– birds at the new feeder
– Swing, swing, swing, think, listen, be still
– yard work – the physical movement of mowing the lawn, the satisfaction of seeing the results
– Getting thins done that never even made it to the “to do” list
– afternoon bike ride
– smell of the woods in the late afternoon heat
– canopied covered trail – shadowed with bursts of light
– ocean time- salty smell, light breeze, perfect sized round rock to sit on, reading in the sun, watching the waves, the sound as they crash towards the shore, digging through the teeny tiny pieces of a million rocks
– rest, be still, let Me in
– worship music loud, supper and fresh apple muffins
– evening puttering in the yard
– the amazing gift of dance – calms as I watch on taped tv……….”how beautiful are the feet”
– bedtime, kitty cat amusements

Tuesday Blessings:
– Second day of vacation
– I can feel my muscles – all of them- perhaps I will slow down on the physical labour 🙂
– Breakfast, tea and devotions on the swing – food tastes better outside
– the time is redeemed – an hour on the deck and it is still early
– the robins pick through the grass and the blue jays dominate the new bird feeder – the little birds pick when they can and sing loudly
– long visit with friend and babies – relaxed, memorized by their growth and wonder
– quiet evening, tea and puttering
– call in the night – come and watch the babies……….fear and wonder at the responsibility
– listening to their sweet murmurings as they sleep
– beautiful and innocent in their little sleepers, one on her side and the other with her little arms stretched high above her head – baby dreamland

Wednesday Blessings:
– Babies
5:30 am – time to change diapers and get breakfast – one wakes up only because she is hungry and snuggles close ready to sleep as soon as she eats – the other wakes up alert and ready to go – tugging on the elephant to make him sing and laughing in delight each time he complies
– baby snuggles
– so much love for such little beings – not quite 4 months old – how the time is moving, how they are growing, how they tug the heart strings
– home and a quick breakfast – off to appointments
– that conversation you have with the one that knows you best- confirming what you know and reminding you that you are on the right path – it is hard but knowing it is the right path means you can just keep going
– “can you give yourself some space and some slack – can you accept and let it happen”?  Words of Wisdom – “I’m working on that”
– Quick visit with a friend with promises of another one
– Later afternoon nap – kitty and I – in the humidity – humid dreams
– late supper and a quiet evening and it is bedtime again

Thursday Blessings:
– Morning breeze floats in the bedroom window
-Kitty cat face sticks out (barely) from the comforter to say good morning
– heavy with sleep and humidity – the doubts come
BUT GOD…..today I will walk the path as I know it
– The smell of fresh scones (with a bit of butterscotch) fill the kitchen
– The cool, misty breeze cuts through the humidity in the kitchen
– The maple coloured bush in the front yard has started to bloom bright pink flowers – never noticed before
– Everything is green – lush, healthy, living green
– the deck, cleaned by the pressure washer, looks new and shiny and inviting
– my swing sits beckoning me to its rest
– visits and appointments and time moves smoothly
– supper cooking – cheesy and creamy – can smell it throughout the house
– supper time movie watching
– early to bed when the day disintegrates – worship music in my ear and kitty resting on my leg
– tomorrow is another day – always another day

Friday Blessings:
– sweet, cool breeze in the window
– blue jays fighting over the bird feeder
– kitty still sleeping
– windy- looks like a good laundry day
– scones and tea for breakfast
– devotions -time to spend time in the Word – time to reflect – time to decide what the day will look like

– new flowers – so many shapes, sizes and colours
– digging in the dirt
– beans coming up in the garden
– more movie time with popcorn

Saturday Blessings:
– MORNING
– breakfast together
– getting ready for our Motorcycle day adventure
– 11 hours of motorcycling -here, there and everywhere
– cool on the bike – wind in the heat
– the smell of everything
– everything looks bright and clear
– tea and a snack in the coolness of the park
– lunch outside at a little cafe
– travelling
– memories of days gone by and places we have been
– the smell of clover and wild roses
– lean in close and enjoy the ride

Sunday Blessings: 
-Worship
– baby snuggles and sleepy eyes
– ice cream in the afternoon
– afternoon naps
– hard days only made better by knowing that tomorrow is coming and His mercies are NEW EVERY morning
