The Road to Thanksgiving

It is Saturday!
Thankful for so many things….

– I got out of work before 6pm last night
-The view from the parking lot at work (Halifax Skyline) was superb (lovely shade of yellow green in the middle of a very dark blue sky) – so pretty
– Nachos with hubby for supper
– Laying on the couch watching mindless t.v. with my two favs (Hubby and Nico the Kitty)
– Christmas wreath supplies for a wreath on my sewing room table
– I can actually see my sewing room table (thanks to a purging of the sewing room last week)
– Sleeping in this morning
– Frosty morning snowflakes on the deck
– Crunchy granola on my yogurt
– Hot tea
– Beads of sparkling glass on limbs striped of their leaves
– Touched By An Angel Christmas CD in the car
– Saturday shopping for toys
– Boots for Christmas (motorcycle boots included)
– Browsing in multiple bookstores
– Plans with mom to spend time together before Christmas
– Coffee and McDonald’s apple pies
–  No housework before 6pm 🙂
– Chicken burgers with mayo for supper 🙂 (you know it is Saturday when)
– It’s still only 6:36pm
– Kitty chasing toys around my feet
– Christmas wrapping to do
– Christmas Cantata tomorrow night
– Only 18 sleeps until Christmas
– Tomorrow is Sunday!

Thankful for Grace, Mercy, Joy, Peace and Love – all good things come from the Father above!
