Long Awaited Anniversary Weekend Blessings

So blessed to be married to my best friend, my sweetheart, the love of my life, the other part of my heart and soul, my defender
Although we didn’t get the traditional Church wedding we took our vows in a traditional service, asking the Lord to come in and be the third cord in our marriage
And He has blessed us with EXCEEDING grace, joy and love
Despite the challenges
Despite the scoffers
Despite the difficulties of living with another person and learning how to give another person all that you are all the time
We have loved
We have grown
We have laughed
We have learned
We have travelled
We have motorcycled
We have grown closer with each passing moment
There is not another person in the world I would want to share my life with – good times and tough times
There is not another person in the world who looks at me across a crowded room and still makes my heart melt
There is not another person in the world who makes me laugh soooooooo much
There is not another person I would want to fall asleep with at night and wake up with each morning.
For our anniversary we were blessed to take a Friday and Saturday, skip town, travel, shop, spend a lovely night at a lovely inn, relax without the intrusions of the world, eat at a lovely little italian place (found completely by chance), take a little stroll in the cold around Moncton, shop at Frenchy’s, check out awesome fish and chips in Cap-Pele and travel home. It was a lovely time of celebration and refreshing.
