The steps of a good man

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD,
And He delights in his way.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;
For the LORD upholds him with His hand.
Psalm 37:23-24

Happy Monday!
And so begins another week.
The sun is making a brave attempt to break through this morning
Nico has had breakfast and a good brushing and is ready for his morning nap
Tea is on and books are out to continue writing curriculum
The weekend went quickly.
And here we are
On the cusp of a new week.
As I read devotions this morning i looked through the Psalms for something specific to new beginnings
New days and
New plans.
What better verses to find than those that remind us of the blessing of the Lord’s Hand on our very steps!
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD
And the additional promise that when I falter and fall
I will not be utterly cast down because of the Hand of the Lord.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down;
For the LORD upholds him with His hand
Two promises in one!
I claim these promises for my friends Cheryl and Muriel today as they travel to Uganda to work in an orphanage there for a month!  That the Hand of Almighty God will be on them at the beginning of this new day, this new plan, this new adventure.
You can following there blog at:

And please keep them in prayer!
What plans has the Lord ordered for you today?
What steps has He gone ahead and set out for you to walk in?
As He called to Peter “COME” – to meet Him on the water
What is is calling you to step out of and into today
this week
this season?
The Lord has a plan
A good plan
A plan especially for you!
Will you step out in faith today
Trusting that He has ordered those steps
And will uphold you,
even when you falter and fall?
Happy Monday!
Listen carefully
He is calling your name
“COME”!
