2 things this morning:
1) you can’t  really know God by hearing about someone else’s experiences with Him. 
You will only really know the Lord when He reveals Himself to you and gives you a vision of who He is.
2)  When you receive a true vision of who the Lord is, you will have a much clearer picture of yourself; that will lead you to repentance.
Job knew much about the Lord and was considered a righteous man, however, when Job had an experience with the Lord, he stated “but now my eye sees You” and this righteous man repented in dust and ashes. 
An encounter with the Lord never allows us to stay the same.
