The Midnight Hour
But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. Acts 16:25-26
It is in the midnight hour of our days and our seasons and our lives that things shift, relief comes and chains are broken.
When you can’t see a way out, when you are at the end of your rope and your self-sufficiency, when you give yourself up to prayer and worship; that is when God will move on your behalf in mighty and supernatural ways.
Where do you find yourself today?
Are you hanging on tight to the end of that rope?
Have you finally decided you don’t have it in yourself to “control” this any longer?
Open your mouth wide and let the praises flow.
Paul and Silas didn’t only sing, they sang where others could hear them.
Be vocal in your worship; began to share what the Lord has done until now.
And prepare to see your earth shake and your chains loosed.
