Hope
Hope = to wait in confidence and expectation.
We often use the word hope in a tentative and unsure way……
”I hope it is sunny”,
“I hope things work out”.
But hope is a word that is filled with confidence and expectation.
It is not a maybe, but an “I’m sure of.”
And because we often use it as a tentative and unsure word, we hope about things that we already see, rather than hoping about those things we do not see, in confidence.
What are you hoping for today?
Is your hope small or big?
Can you actually see what you are hoping for already (in which case it isn’t really hope)?
Or are you hoping for those things you know (confidently and in expectancy) that are coming?
Hope should bring comfort and expectation, not worry and hesitancy.
Hope big today!
